My passion for New Orleans public schools is deeply rooted in my experience in this city as an educator and mental health provider, roles that have strengthened my resolve that quality education is a significant, fundamental human right that must be accessible to every child.
I will work to:

Ensure that each student is served based on their individualized educational needs, while also receiving emotional support.

Foster engagement with parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff to achieve student success.

Ensure fiscal accountability and transparency, rebuilding community trust regarding district resources.
My background and service as an educator, licensed clinical social worker and community and civic leader uniquely qualifies me for this important role. As a servant-leader with deep community relationships and a strong track record of advocacy and impact, I will make tough, well-reasoned, solution-driven decisions focused on student success.
As an Orleans Parish School Board member, I will work daily to ensure that every student has access to high quality, equitable education with the support and resources needed for them to reach their full potential.
